Steve and Val Carmichael moved to the beautiful hills of southeast Kentucky in the fall of 1999. Our 17 acre farm is located in Corbin, Kentucky, about 75 miles North of Knoxville, TN and 90 miles south of Lexington, KY. We can be easily found only 7 miles of I-75 and 7 miles from the scenic Cumberland Falls. We arrived with 6 llamas. We now have grown to 15 llamas, 3 dogs, 10 cats, 3 golden pheasants, and one cockatiel bird. Originally, all we wanted was a few llamas as companions. We have now decided to represent Agape Lland Llamas at a few shows this year. Val works with training llamas to pack and with the llama fiber in her spare time.

We want to produce llamas to serve as companions to people and llamas that have strong bone that is conformationally correct with a workable personality. Whether a guard, packer, show llama, or pet, our goal is that animal and family enjoy each other.
